Boys don't cry!! But why??

The myth of "boys don't cry" perpetuates harmful gender stereotypes that dictate how individuals should express their emotions based on their gender. This societal expectation suggests that boys should suppress their emotions, particularly sadness or vulnerability, and instead demonstrate toughness or stoicism.

However, this notion is not only outdated but also detrimental to mental health and well-being. Everyone, regardless of gender, should feel free to express their emotions openly and seek support when needed. Suppressing emotions can lead to internalized stress, increased risk of mental health issues, and difficulty forming meaningful connections with others.

Encouraging boys to cry and express their feelings fosters emotional intelligence, resilience, and healthier relationships. Breaking free from this myth is essential for creating a more inclusive and supportive society where individuals can authentically be themselves without fear of judgment or ridicule.
